In July the Power Ranch YMCA held their 2nd Annual Backpack Drive for the children of the Gilbert/Higley School District. Their goal was to have 150 backpacks donated. They are ready to present 179 stuffed and ready for school backpacks to the Gilbert/Higley schools. What a great community to support this drive and help so many children who are in need.
The next event at Power Ranch YMCA is their Back to School Event for Gilbert families. It is being held tomorrow, August 6th, from 5 to 7 p.m. There will be a bounce house, rock wall, police and fire department, vendors and door prizes. Come have some fun and celebrate with your friends. 4546 E. Haven Crest, Gilbert.
